This trail is named for the impressive Kingia australis which is just one of the many magical species that you’ll find along this trail. Although kingia’s look like grasstrees, they’re not related and you can recognise them when they’re flowering as they appear to be wearing a crown.

Kingia’s Landing is a shared use trail and follows on from Once Upon a Time out of Walpole. If you’re on your bike, you can head onto Riverrun for a spectacular descent alongside Kwakoorillup Beela (Frankland River) before joining the Munda Biddi Trail. Another option is to climb Rapunzel’s Tower (dual direction for hikers, one way climb for riders), or you could simply return the way you came back to Walpole.
