Nestled within the peaceful forest landscapes of East Nannup, Davies Camp is a fully equipped equine-friendly campsite located along the Warren Blackwood Stock Route. Surrounded by native bushland and managed on DBCA land, the campsite provides riders and horses with a scenic and tranquil overnight stop while travelling through the Southern Forests & Valleys region.
Located near the corner of Emu and Gold Gully Roads in the Willow Springs area, Davies Camp offers riders the opportunity to experience the natural beauty, wildlife, and remote character of the historic stock route while enjoying key camping facilities designed specifically for long-distance trail users.
Davies Camp is a popular overnight stop for riders travelling between Nannup and Bridgetown and provides a comfortable place to rest before continuing deeper into the Southern Forests & Valleys trail network.

Davies Camp provides an important overnight stop for riders completing multi-day journeys along the Warren Blackwood Stock Route and offers a quiet bush setting to rest and recharge before continuing along the trail.
Phone Signal & Safety
Mobile phone coverage may be limited or unreliable within this section of the trail depending on location and service provider. Riders should not rely solely on mobile reception while travelling the route.
Before travelling, riders are encouraged to:
- Carry maps and navigation tools
- Inform someone of their travel plans and expected arrival times
- Carry emergency and first aid equipment
- Carry sufficient food and water supplies
- Carry a Personal Locator Beacon (PLB) where possible
- Ensure horses are adequately prepared for long-distance trail conditions
Water, Fire & Emergency Information
A rainwater tank is available at the campsite; however, water is non-potable and should be treated before drinking. Riders are encouraged to carry additional water supplies for both themselves and their horses, particularly during warmer months.
Campfires are only permitted in designated fire pits where provided and must comply with all current fire restrictions and Total Fire Ban requirements. Riders should check local fire conditions before travelling and never leave fires unattended.

- Follow emergency services instructions and evacuation advice where applicable

Davies Camp is an open-access campsite and bookings are not required. Trail users are encouraged to notify someone of their travel itinerary before commencing their journey along the Warren Blackwood Stock Route.

The older cows would lead and the younger ones would drag. You’d have to push
them along. Keep pushing them along to keep up with the leaders. The leaders
seemed to enjoy going to the coast for a holiday.
