The Blackwood Classic 250 race is a three day time trial covering approximately 250 kilometres of the Blackwood River. Crowds and competitors with dinghies gather at Blackwood River Park in Bridgetown to start the race before the boats take off down the Blackwood river. Passing through Nannup and Sues Bridge, and finishing at the river mouth at Augusta.

Although a highly competitive sport, the Club is very much family oriented with several husband/ wife, fathers & sons/daughters and brother/sister teams competing in all events.
