Bridgetown celebrates being the winter capital of Western Australia with a three-month long Fridgetown Fest! Known for cool, crisp, misty mornings, rolling green hills and the warmth of country hospitality, Bridgetown and neighbouring Greenbushes, are an ideal location to rest, relax and take in some of the winter activities on offer.

For those who prefer sitting beside a roaring fire, keeping toasty, the restaurants, cafes, pubs, wineries and brewery serve hearty fares, thirst quenching brews or finest cellar drops. You’re welcome to come and search for vintage or handmade treasures, shop ’til you drop in our various boutique stores or peruse at your leisure along Main Street and soak up the warmth of creativity from our local art studios and galleries.

If you’re seeking a bit of adventure, come take in the trails, canoe the river, walk part of the Bibbulmun or let the kids loose to breathe in the fresh air while exploring the plethora of nature trails around Bridgetown and Greenbushes.

This year we are changing up how we present the festival. We will be keeping events up to date in the “What’s On” that is put out by the Bridgetown Greenbushes Visitor Centre each week. The What’s On can be found here.

You can also sign up to receive the What’s On directly to your inbox each Wednesday. Scroll to the bottom of the Shire of Bridgetown Greenbushes Explore page to sign up, or call the Visitor Centre on 08 9761 1740.

This will be the go-to document for all current and upcoming events. Please check in regularly and plan your escape to the Southwest for Fridgetown Fest!
