Ampersand Estates is a reimagining of the area’s oldest winery. The estate is a transformation of the old Donnelly River Wines into a contemporary winery and gourmet picnic venue with an expansion of the existing infrastructure to include three luxury accommodation sites, two wedding venues, and a gin and vodka lounge.

Cellar Door & Winery

Ampersand Estates produces a range of light, approachable wines suitable for immediate enjoyment and styled to be paired with picnics, barbeques, and other special occasions. The core wine varietals are Sauvignon Blanc, Shiraz, Tempranillo, Riesling and Pinot Noir. Working in partnership with some of the region’s top wine makers, including Bruce Dukes and Andries Mosert, Ampersand Estates’ wines are expressions of the Pemberton regions’ unique beauty and outstanding terroir.

The Homestead

The Homestead, situated along the Donnelly River, boasts five luxurious individual rooms all fitted with king-sized beds and a personal ensuite. The spacious home is the perfect setting for socialising, whilst also including private amenities such as a cosy lounge and library to unwind in. With a private escape to nature offered via the direct view of the Donnelly River from our large decking space, the Homestead is immersed in the unique national forest of Peerabeelup.

This site just is a short scenic walk to the ‘village’ where you can indulge in various experiences such as a personalised picnic by the lake, a tasting session of the Ampersand wine collection or a stroll in our spectacular gardens. The Homestead is the perfect place to relax and enjoy your next visit to the amazing South West region.

The Vintner’s Residence

The Vintner’s Residence is an elegant five-bedroom house located at the top of Ampersand Estates overlooking the sensational view of our vineyard and surrounding national parks. Each luxurious room is fitted with individual ensuites and has been designed to give each guest the ultimate Ampersand experience.

Containing two large decking spaces, this residence is the perfect place on the property to host a sundowner and enjoy your favourite glass of Ampersand wine. The many entertaining spaces provide guests with the perfect opportunity to socialise and unwind. Tailored to meet all needs, this stunning home is the best choice for your next holiday in the Pemberton region.

The Settler’s Cottage

The Settlers’ Cottage, originally built in the late 1870s, is a newly renovated quaint cabin that encompasses the rich history of Ampersand Estates. It is a traditional two-bedroom, one bathroom house including a fireplace, intimate lounge area and a fully refurbished kitchen. Located in the village, the cottage is central to the many experiences offered by the estate such as the cellar door wine and spirits tastings and personalised gourmet picnics on the bank of the Donnelly River. Only a short walk through our spectacular gardens is our barn event venue, perfect for a wide range of functions. This elegant home is the ideal getaway location that accommodates all your holiday needs.

Gourmet Lunch Hampers

Ampersand Estates curates gourmet lunch hampers composed of a range of fresh regional produce and artisanal cheeses, bread, charcuterie, and chocolates. These can be enjoyed across the entire estate.
Wines will be available for tasting and purchase on the estate both individually and as part of a gourmet lunch hamper. Our hampers are composed of a range of fresh regional produce and artisanal cheeses, bread, charcuterie, and chocolates. Guests enjoying lunch will be able to venture out across the entire estate to find their ideal picnic location.
