Our journey starts with Pam Riordan, a Perth local who, in 1998, dreamed of escaping the daily grind to fuse her love for the Great Outdoors with a conventional 9-to-5 job. In 2000, Pam launched her inaugural Cape to Cape Track tour with just six clients, seizing the opportunity as the track had recently been completed, and guidebooks were scarce. Amid years of adventure and enjoyment, Pam faced a challenge when Achilles problems hindered her ability to walk in 2007, prompting change. Meanwhile, in Fremantle, Simon and Emily, current owners of Inspiration Outdoors, yearned for a more adventurous life after completing the 1000km Bibbulmun Track hike from Perth to Albany. Their paths crossed when Emily pursued an Honors thesis in eco-tourism, ultimately leading to the ownership of Inspiration Outdoors. Since then, the company has expanded to offer walking, biking, and comfort adventures across Australia, embracing the core principle of living a big, adventurous life.
