Your chance to stay in a unique character-filled house on the banks of the beautiful Blackwood River in the heart of the South West. Surrounded by trees and parkland, with no near neighbours, this is true tranquility in a beautifully-appointed house while still within walking distance to Bridgetown shops. Use the house as your base to visit Margaret River, Nannup, Balingup, Hamelin Bay, Donnelly River, Manjimup and Walpole. Or just chill out at the house as you enjoy the river and wildlife in this huge homestead. The house is surrounded by a well-kept council reserve which has a great children’s playground and sand pit. You can follow the walk tracks that take you along the river or through the back way into the town. The house has easy access by foot into Bridgetown which is about a 10-minute walk over the bridge and into town. Full reverse-cycle air conditioning means you will be snug in winter (with electric blankets and two wood fires as well) and cool in summer.

Guests will have the house to themselves, although bedrooms not booked are expected not to be used. There is no fence around the front of the property so please watch if you have small children that they do not wander down to the river by themselves. Also if you bring a dog, please be aware that the property is not fully fenced so you may have to keep your dog on a lead when it is outside.
