This nature reserve is a great place to walk and camp. Enjoy the peace and tranquility of the Blackwood River as it flows through one of the park’s boundaries. A delightful forest of tall redgums and river gums stands alongside its banks.
If you visit on a still day, stay quiet and you may see marron scuttling about under the waters of the Blackwood River. Emus and kangaroos live in the park, see if you can spot one. Dawn and dusk are good times for nature watching. Why not stay a while and really relax? You and your dog (on a leash) are welcome to camp at Wrights Bridge Campground nearby.
