Head out on this 28.3-km loop trail near Bridgetown, Western Australia. Generally considered a moderately challenging route. This trail is great for mountain biking, and it’s unlikely you’ll encounter many other people while exploring.

A 28km MTB XC loop trail. The retired railway siding trail provides an introduction to a 28km rectangular circuit through the surrounds of the Hester and Winnejup forest reserves. The surfaces are varied, as are the gradients. The trail includes railway sidings, forest trails, single-track, technical climbs, and tricky descents.

The track is accessible directly from the Bridgetown townsite. Head north from the town centre on the SouthWest Highway, turn right into Bunbury Street then immediately left into Railway Terrace – the track starts approximately 10 meters on the left.

Bridgetown is 100km south of Bunbury and 35km north of Manjimup. Follow the South Western Highway from either direction. Facilities include Toilets, Drinking water, a bike shop on Hampton Street, Bridgetown plus several cafes/shops that will cycle past in Bridgetown. Signage and mapping for the trail are currently under review within the Bridgetown Shire.
