🌈🚲 Rainbow Rides are coming to the Southern Forests & Valleys!
As the region gears up for the 2026 UCI Gravel World Championships in Nannup, we’re bringing the excitement to communities across the Southern Forests & Valleys with three FREE Rainbow Ride events.
📍 Balingup – Sunday 4 October
📍 Bridgetown – Monday 5 October
📍 Pemberton – Tuesday 6 October
These aren’t races, they’re relaxed, community focused events designed to get people out on their bikes and enjoying our region. Alongside the rides, each town will come alive with a family friendly Event Village featuring kids’ bike activities, games, face painting, food and plenty of fun.
And we’re very excited to have Australian professional cyclist Matilda Raynolds joining us at all three events! 🚴♀️🌈

We’re kicking off Rainbow Rides in beautiful Balingup on Sunday 4 October.
Starting from the Balingup Medieval Site, the 14km community ride is all about getting out, having fun and enjoying a relaxed ride through the local area.
Not riding? Come along anyway! The Event Village will be running from 9am–12pm, with kids’ activities and family-friendly entertainment making it a great morning out for the whole family.

Rainbow Rides rolls into Bridgetown on Monday 5 October, with a morning of cycling, activities and community fun.
The main 15km Rainbow Ride offers a relaxed ride through Bridgetown, with an additional 8km option for younger riders. Back at the Event Village there’ll be plenty happening for kids and families before the ride gets underway.
