Step back in time on Bridgetown’s Old Rectory Trail 🌿🥾
Following the picturesque Blackwood River, this easy 1km walk begins near Bridgetown’s iconic timber bridge and follows a historic route once used by Anglican parish priests travelling between their home at the Old Rectory and their place of work at St Paul’s Anglican Church.
Although the privately owned Old Rectory is not accessible, walkers can retrace their steps or follow the loop link back towards the bridge. Along the way, enjoy peaceful river views, connect with River Park and see the striking water-drop sculpture at the southern end of the bridge, symbolising the importance of water to environmental sustainability.

🥾 Easy walk
📏 Approximately 1.5km
