  • Manjimup Heritage Park: Features accessible pathways, picnic tables, accessible toilets, and wide-open spaces. The inclusive playground includes accessible play equipment.
  • Power Up Electricity Museum: Fully wheelchair accessible and equipped with a hearing loop system; free devices are available to integrate with personal hearing aids or handheld speakers. Assistance animals are welcome, and friendly staff are on hand to provide support. For visitors on the autism spectrum, the museum offers sensory-friendly spaces, including a large foyer with seating and toilets, minimal lighting and sound changes, and a children’s area with books and games. Noise-cancelling headphones for children are available free of charge. Visitors can also take breaks in the grassed area and playground, with the option to return to the museum later in the day.
  • State Timber Museum: Fully accessible by wheelchair. The museum design was built in partnership with Alzheimer’s WA to ensure the interior design is dementia friendly. Assistant dogs are welcome. The museum offers a sensory-friendly experience with open spaces, soft lighting, and unobtrusive interpretation panels. Visitors can start in the large foyer with seating and toilet access before entering. Inside, there is a kid’s space with cushions, games, and books, along with sensory features such as nature sounds, a steam whistle recording (short but loud every 30 minutes), and a TV displaying a short video on the timber industry. An audio nook provides headphones for listening to timber industry stories, and child-sized noise-cancelling headphones are available free of charge at the Visitor Centre reception. Visitors are welcome to take breaks in the large grassed area and playground outside and return when ready, ensuring a comfortable and inclusive experience.
  • Tall Timbers Manjimup: Wheelchair accessible through a flat entrance at the rear. Nearby accessible parking at Coronation Park. The outside dining area is accessible, and double doors can be opened with assistance. Accessible toilet.
  • Two Little Black Birds: Fully wheelchair accessible.

Trails

  • King Jarrah Tree: Accessible trail and boardwalks lead to this famous tree; nearby accessible picnic area.
  • Manjimup Linear Path: The trail runs from Manjimup Heritage Park near Graphite Road to the southern edge of town at Seven Day Road. The path is paved and suitable for wheelchairs.
