The Blackwood Marathon is a unique relay race held annually and begins in Boyup Brook and finishes in Bridgetown after travelling around 60kms through some of our region’s most picturesque countryside.

Competitors enter this event in teams comprising of 5 members, or ironmen and ironwomen. A runner, a canoeist, a swimmer, an equestrian (optional) and a cyclist. The race begins in the town of Boyup Brook and finishes in Bridgetown after journeying around 60kms through some of Western Australia’s most picturesque countryside in the Blackwood River Valley.

This fun and challenging relay marathon is organized by the Rotary Club of Blackwood Valley and is a fundraiser for local and global initiatives that make a positive impact.
