Welcome to the Northcliffe Visitor Centre, your gateway to the Understory “Art in Nature” Sculpture Trail and D’Entrecasteaux National Park. Northcliffe is a year-round destination situated in a biodiversity hotspot. Surrounded by towering forests and magnificent National Parks, this charming town is a mere 25-minute drive from the beach—the only sealed road access to the coast for 130 kilometers.

D’Entrecasteaux National Park is a paradise for four-wheel driving, camping, and fishing enthusiasts. If you’re passionate about the outdoors, Northcliffe offers some of the most exceptional nature-based experiences in the state.

At the Northcliffe Visitor Centre, our knowledgeable staff are here to provide you with information about the region’s flora, fauna, attractions, accommodation, and tours. Our visitor centre showcases a curated selection of locally made products and souvenirs, take a piece of Northcliffe home with you as a memento of your visit.

Northcliffe is not only home to the renowned Bibbulmun Track and the Munda Biddi Trail but also a convenient hub for these trails. The Visitor Centre stocks a range of dehydrated meals from Back Country, Feed the Hike and Strive Foods. Gas canisters are available, and the Visitor Centre will also hold resupply parcels for collection (open daily 9am-4pm).

The Northcliffe Library is located within the Northcliffe Information and Visitor Centre on Muirillup Road, Northcliffe. The building also accommodates the Community Resource Centre and the Painted Tree Gallery.

TransWA coaches provides services from Northcliffe to Perth most days – Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Friday to Sunday at 10.55am. Coaches return to Northcliffe from Perth and then on to Albany every day except Wednesdays. The Visitor Centre can book tickets up to the day prior to travel, or bookings can be made by calling 1300 662 205 or visiting www.transwa.wa.gov.au.
