On the edge of WA south-west forest PipinnVale is an old timber mill workers cottage with jarrah floorboards, comfy beds & share bathroom.
An open fire in the open plan and very homely living area, a fire pit in the garden for an evening under the stars, country style kitchen complete with chef. Your stay includes a continental breakfast, should you require a cooked breakfast this will incur an extra $10 per head, dinner this is by arrangement a week prior to your stay at
The space
There are 2 bedrooms & a Glam tent @ PipinnVale
“The Karri” has a Queen bed,
“The Jarrah” has 2 king singles, all with electric blankets & duck down doonas.
All with a shared bathroom.
The glamping tent is in the garden, has 2 single beds and a rustic out the back shower & toilet…
The tariff includes a cooked or continental breakfast.
I can also extend to a camping cot for an extra person in the lounge at a cost of $50 a night but this will only work if all guest in the house are acquainted as it’s very open.
Guest access
The house is open for you to enjoy with the front veranda as a lovely spot to read and have afternoon tea
gather around the fire in the living room on a cold winter evening.
Meals are served in the kitchen dining room.
and outside enjoy the garden with all the birds and in the evening sit around the open fire pit (not when there is a fire ban) and enjoy a wine and stargazing.
Just repeat your fellow guests and my private bedroom
During your stay
I like to socialise with my guest, and I will normally be around as this is my home, but I do leave you to enjoy the house and garden on your own.
Sometimes I will join you for breakfast depending on what time you eat, Dinner is always with me.
I have a 6-year-old Staffy cross dog called Tilly and she loves people and socialising with you.
Other things to note
I am a qualified chef and I’d love to cook for you….
I really enjoy cooking Asian (Chinese and Malaya) food, Middle Eastern food, as well as fusion dishes, also vegetarian and vegan dishes.
Cooked breakfast is: a full English or American buckwheat pancakes with maple syrup and bacon or Chinese congee (not all at once 🙂 )

Please note- the weather down in the south-west and Northcliffe is very changeable one day it is fine and nice and warm or even hot and the next raining, on the fine days the nights can get quite cold. so pack for both
