On the edge of the WA southern forest, Pipinnvale is a mill workers’ cottage offering a glamping van experience with 1 single and 1 double bed, electric blankets & duck-down doona. Nestled at the bottom of the garden, next to a fire pit, patio, a rustic outside shower room & toilet for glampers.
Your stay includes a continental breakfast.
The space
Your glamping van is a renovated 1950’s Millard van that looks out onto the garden and Karri forest with abundant bird life and the chance of spotting a kangaroo or 2.
The house is an old timber mill workers’ cottage which I am slowly renovating to bring it back to its former glory.
The rustic shower & toilet is constructed of recycled tin, jarrah and bricks. It’s been a lot of fun putting it together.
The garden is lush and surrounded by mature trees… lilly pilly tree and a huge ivy growing over the old outhouse.
It’s quiet and relaxing and in the evening under the stars, you can gather around the outdoor fire pit for a glass of wine and hot chestnuts (not in fire-restricted times)
Breakfast is served on the patio.
Coffee and a wide selection of teas are available for you to help yourself to.
Guest access
The back patio and garden is yours to feel at home in and enjoy with all the birds and in the evening sit around the open fire pit (not when there is a fire ban) and enjoy a wine and a spot of stargazing.
Meals are served out on the patio
Other things to note
Pipinnvale supports the foxglove project in Rwanda by a donation of $5 per bed night.
We also use & support ” Who gives a crap” using their toilet papers and tissues of which 50% going to sanitation projects in 3rd world countries.
I use Zero co products who are working towards zero plastics in the ocean….every little bit helps 🙂
The property is powered by solar and our water is from the rain.
So we are 90% off-grid and all natural.
