Jane National Park spans 6570 hectares of forest with approximately three-quarters classed as ‘old growth’. Some individual trees found in this park are thought to be more than 300 years old and the area is home to a large diversity of plants and animals. Jane Forest was named in 1946 by Pemberton forester-in-charge John D’Espessis, who named the area after his young daughter Jane.

The Bibbulmun Track goes through Jane National Park.
