Snake Gully Lookout

Stop at Snake Gully Lookout to listen to birds in the treetops, breathe in the hush of the forest, and drink in sweeping views of towering karri giants.

Perched above a deep, lush gully, the lookout is situated on the Great Forest Trees Drive. From this vantage, you’ll get a panorama of old-growth karri  along with jarrah and marri species in the understorey.

A raised boardwalk and viewing platform let you safely step into the canopy edge, great for photos or staying awhile to soak up the serenity. Birdlife here is abundant, honeyeaters, scrubwrens, whistlers and more glide through the branches, offering occasional splashes of colour and song.
