Wattleseed Barn is a family-run Café and Florist which offers barista-made Yahava coffees, fresh baked treats made in-house, as well as a selection of options for breakfast and lunch.  Their new deck is the perfect spot to share brunch or afternoon tea with friends, drink a coffee and read the paper, or just hang out with your pooch for some dog-friendly dining. Sunnyhurst Winery

An visit to any winery is a perfect way to spend a day, but when the surrounds are as pretty as at Sunnyhurst Winery, it doesn’t get much better. The 120-year-old building at the heart of Sunnyhurst is located just 5 minutes from the centre of Bridgetown and overlooks the rolling valleys of the region. The cellar door offers tasting of their award-winning wines with no appointment necessary, just walk in.  At Sunnyhurst, you can have a chat with owner and winemaker Marie-Pierre Dussault, who is always available and happy to discuss anything wine related.

Unlike many wineries, children of all ages are welcome at Sunnyhurst. As a matter of fact, they are the first ones we turn our attention to as they step in the cellar door. There is plenty to do in the gardens to keep them occupied while mum and dad enjoy a tasting in a peaceful setting. A fully-enclosed grass tennis court allows them to run freely and safely, play a touch of soccer or badminton. There is also a romantic swing under the centenary tree adorned with flowers which is a favourite with both kids and parents!

Barking Cow Cafe

The Barking Cow is home to great coffee, awesome breakfasts and wholesome lunches all made with local produce, plus there’s homemade bread and cakes. The perfect stop for your breakfast, morning coffee or lunch.

The Bridgetown Hotel

The historic Bridgetown Hotel is the perfect place to stop for a bite to eat throughout the day. The restaurant and café have a magnificent collection of freshly made cakes for a coffee break any time of the day or evening and they’re open for lunch and dinner every day.
